Foreign Born Birth Certificate Requirements
As a parent or guardian of a foreign born player, US Soccer and FIFA require you to complete additional forms and submit supporting documentation for your child to play soccer in the USA. This is not a rule set by Broken Arrow Soccer Club. We are here to help you understand the process the best we can, but we are not able to approve your child. This process needs to be started within 7 days of your player’s registration. This requirement applies to your player regardless of their citizenship status. If your player was adopted from a foreign country, born on a foreign US military base, or born in a foreign country, US Soccer and FIFA require you to complete this process.
The chart below explains which process should be used depending on your player’s age and when they entered the USA. For more detailed information, follow this link.

All required documentation and correspondance should be emailed to player_registration@ussoccer.org and copied to birthcertificate@basoccer.club
Please note that BASC needs approval from US Soccer before the soccer season starts in order for your child to be eligible to play in the upcoming season. (The approval process usually takes less than a week.) If any issues arise getting the appropriate documents sent to US Soccer, please let us know.
