Coaching Experience
Coach Havens has his US Soccer E License and has been coaching at BASC since 2015. He coaches a 2008 boys competitive team and a 2011 girls Select team.


Soccer Experience
Havens grew up playing recreational and competitive soccer through Muskogee and Wagoner Soccer Clubs. At Muskogee High School, he was a 4-year letterman and All-State/All-District Forward. After high school, he went to Northeastern State University where he was on the mens soccer team from 1998-2002.


Team Championships
Over the years, Havens' teams have won verious Recreational and Select League championships. In 2017 his 08 boys team won the 2017 OSA State Tournamene of Champions, U10B Select. In the spring of 2019, they won the OPL League 2 Championship. 


Coaching Philosophy
Havens' believes that a high level of intensity, effort, and agression can overwhelm an opponent and overcome a lot of mistakes. He is also supportive of kids playing multiple sports. He thinks that breaks are good for their minds and body. Different sports can benefit soccer players physically.
